Large Heart Shaped Birch Basket

A classy addition to any home or office, this heart shaped birch basket was handmade by the Dene people in Fort Liard, Northwest Territories in Canada's far north.

Decorated with coloured porcupine quills and held together with moose hide, this basket is light, durable and will last for years.  An original work of art reflecting the traditional ways of the Dene people.
